Marketing Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual to work closely with our marketing agency to coordinate our brand and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate should be interested in obtaining hands-on marketing experience and advancing his/her marketing skills, as well as be comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively with others.

In strategic partnership with our marketing agency, the Marketing Manager role will be responsible for expanding Everett Bank’s presence across multi-channel initiatives to build brand awareness, drive engagement and deepen banking relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Guided by our marketing agency, envision, build, design and optimize the annual, cross-channel marketing plan. Elevate our brand and marketing performance, building upon previous year's efforts.
  • Work with our agency partners to drive an audience-centric marketing approach; ensure that message, content and campaign strategies are centered around customers needs.
  • Develop a solid understanding of all bank products and services and be able to pair accordingly with key retail and business audiences.
  • Foster the brand positioning using competitive analysis and input.
  • Actively engage and lead the planning and execution of bank-sponsored community events (may require weekend presence but planned for well in advance). 
  • Monitor marketing performance and optimize efforts based on data, insights, and market knowledge as reported and provided by the advertising agency.
  • Build a repository of agency-created templates that can be efficiently leveraged for quick-turn, opportunistic promotions and marketing efforts.
  • Contribute to the overall development, growth and strategic direction of Everett Bank’s website.
  • Work with our agency partners to integrate digital with offline initiatives and marketing campaigns to provide an end-to-end experience that delights customers, deepens relationships, and drives positive brand sentiment. 

Requirements and Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree required.
  • Minimum of 3-4+ years professional, marketing/ad agency experience with demonstrated track record developing results-oriented marketing strategies (preferably in banking / financial environments).
  • Proven experience developing strategic cross-channel marketing plans for new initiatives including business case/rationale, development, budget management and go-to-market plans.
  • Strong communication, verbal/written, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
  • Project management experience and strong attention to detail in a multi-task environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective partnerships across cross-functional teams.
  • Track record of successful and collaborative relationships with external partners and vendors.
  • A data-driven mindset and an inquisitive interest in understanding program performance.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit/ability to try different things with minimal direction or combination of relevant experience listed above.
  • Experience with web content management systems preferred; skills in Photoshop, InDesign, photography, Google Analytics welcomed.
